July Product Updates for Frictionless Coordination & Greater Autonomy

Screen-grab of july product updates at Thriver

A new month always feels like a new beginning, but wouldn’t you agree that July is extra special? It means we’ve all rounded the bend and successfully made it past the first half of 2021. There’s still a ways to go, so to help our platform users plan out culture-building activities for the rest of the year, we’ve developed the following features. Each one will make it easier to tailor chosen activities to your team’s needs, consolidate and use new and historical information, and manage bookings effectively. Keep reading to find out what’s new with Thriver!

Features that never end

We’re super excited about this one because it has multiple layers and features that will seriously come in handy as offices emerge from hibernation. Here’s the gist of what you need to know:

Virtual Vs. On-Site Details

It’s been a couple of months since the world started reopening, and, thankfully, many of us can now enjoy in-person activities once again. You’ll now be able to see which services our providers offer that are onsite, virtual, or both. You can now also enter your office address when submitting in-house event requests, making it easier for our providers to plan out the necessary logistics.

Coming soon: all the above functions are good to go, but keep an eye out for our upcoming location filter , which will help you find available services located near you!

Service Customization

This product update creates more access to our providers and a heightened ability to personalize requested activities. You’re no longer limited to the set services that may not be exactly what you’re looking for. Instead, you can message providers and ask for specific tweaks that will help the activities you’re interested in cater to your organization better, or even request entirely customized services that will fit your team like a tailor-made suit.

“My Favourites” Collection

You know how Netflix has that super convenient “Add to My List” feature, so you can quickly create a playlist of stuff you want to watch later? This product update is basically that! As you browse through our platform, just click the little hearts on the services that pique your interest and add them to your favourites list. You can also create your own collections lists or just save chosen activities for another time. Lastly, use the polling feature to get a feel for which events your colleagues are interested in!

Book again, and again, and …

Let’s say you’ve just wrapped up a virtual or onsite activity that was such a major hit with your crew that they want to do it again soon. Instead of having to dig through hundreds of platform services to find it again, this update will let you access all past events in your “bookings” tab. Simply hit “book again,” which will copy all activity details and give the option to make any necessary changes. This feature will make scheduling recurring services straightforward and flawless!

Improved invite management for all

This feature update allows you, as an admin, to manage event invites and guest lists directly through Thriver. For instance, our providers previously assigned participants to Zoom rooms. However, no one knows your team the way you do, so we’ve enabled you to do this independently. And lastly, after RSVPing, participants can add activity details to their calendars so they won’t forget and miss out.

That sums up the features we’ve added so far on this side of 2021. Give them a try and let us know what you think! We’re always eager to receive feedback so we can continue creating a more user-friendly and intuitive platform experience.
