July comes to Toronto with team-bonding activity ideas for work
July has much more to offer than just warm weather and sunny days for your Toronto workplace.
National Picnic Month: July marks the time of year when conditions are ideal for eating outdoors. We observe National Picnic Month to encourage folks to gather outside and break bread as a community.
National Picnic Month activity: Start off a company picnic with a Corporate Survivor Outdoor Game. This event is full of light fun and competition, as your team is placed on a figurative island, and participants pit their skills against each other to win a series of contents and score points.
World Chocolate Day: If there’s any one edible in the world that deserves its own worldwide holiday, it’s chocolate. On July 7, this international day of celebration commemorates the introduction of chocolate to Europe in 1550.
World Chocolate Day activity: We can’t think of a better way to celebrate chocolate than with chocolate. Treat your workplace to a chocolate-making workshop, where you make irresistible treats and decorate your confections. When it’s all over, you leave with a parcel containing goodies of your own making.
National Intern Day: The last Thursday in July – July 28th this year – is National Intern Day. The nation created this day in 2017 to acknowledge the meaningful contributions interns give to their organizations throughout the year.
National Intern Day activity: Get your interns and coworkers together for an evening of fun team-building with the In-Person Plant Nite workshop. Select a glass or wooden planter and create your own terrarium. Soil, plants, and decorations are all provided for this 60-minute group-bonding experience.
